Sandpaper Tshirts

This activity was incredibly fun and the kids were SO excited to see their finished products!

Supplies needed:

*White t'shirts

*A NEW box of crayons (they need to be very sharp)

*An 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of sandpaper (the finer the grade the easier to color on)

*1 piece of cardboard (roughly 8 1/2 x 11 size)

*Wax paper

Directions:

Step 1: Have your child/children color their picture on sandpaper (you must go over this at least twice)

Step 2: Insert your piece of cardboard under the front of the t'shirt

Step 3: Place your colored sandpaper (crayon side down) on top of the t'shirt and cardboard

Step 4: Place a piece of wax paper on the back of the sandpaper

Step 5: Use a HOT iron and iron over the wax paper for a 3-5 minutes, then slowly peel back the sandpaper

Step 6: Pop the t'shirt in the dryer for 20 mins
